If the printer is printing black only, the Ink option in the printer driver may be set to Black instead of Color or a setting in the software may be set to print black only. Also, the print head nozzles may be clogged… Also, make sure you are using a genuine EPSON ink cartridge which has a white label on top of it.

If there are no issues in the ink cartridge and still the Epson printer won't print black, then there are more chances that the print head is clogged and needs cleaning… If the printer does not have an automatic cleaning feature then remove the print head from the printer and clean it thoroughly.
