I'm thinking about buying a Canon A80. I noticed that some of them are made in China and others are made in Japan. Are there any differences between the two? different generations? different quality? Given the choice, which would you buy? Is their significant differences in the two cameras to warrant a difference in price? Please help me!!!!!

My 650D is made in Japan. All my current Canon lenses are made in Taiwan or Malaysia. and the optical quality is superb. Marketing tactics to sell their bodies for a premium price. The price of a body is the same regardless the country of origin (either Japan or Taiwan) so I would not call this a marketing tactic.
