In Lightroom select the image you want to add a border to. Switch to the Lightroom Print module if youâre in another module. In the settings on the right side, select the Print Job panel and set this to print to a JPEG File. Using the Print Job panel also enter the size, resolution and quality of the image.
This is a critical step because the border image that youâre about to create cannot be resized any larger in any dimension than the Lightroom file dimensions that you plan printing to. So, for example, if you want to print a landscape image on letter paper you need to create a frame image of the exact dimensions (or at least the exact ratio of dimensions) of an 11 x 8.5 inch sheet of paper.
